U.S. Catholics celebrated the beatification of Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen Sept. 24, but his impact extends globally says one bishop who came from Pakistan.

Bonnie Engstrom had prayed to Archbishop Sheen during her pregnancy and she begged his help in 2010 as doctors prepared to pronounce her newborn dead.

Father Alindogan said that “Sheen also understood something else: Prayer cannot end in the chapel.”
