The Collection for the Catholic Church in Central and Eastern Europe supports the Church in Ukraine and other countries that emerged from Soviet repression.
Archbishop Rodriguez applauded the release of some prisoners but said many others remain “whose cries and those of their families can no longer be ignored.”
